Potential Departments: Administration Business Development Finance Human Resources Information Technology Lending Loan Administration Marketing Operations Risk & Compliance Wealth Management Our 10-week program includes: An introduction to Shore United bank and the banking/finance industry within a specific department A variety of professional experiences and developmental training Participate in networking, professional development, and community engagement activities Locations: Waldorf, MD (department availability varies by location) Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a temporary, non-exempt position, Monday - Friday. 35-40 hour commitment weekly Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent required Prior to the start of your summer internship, you must have completed at least two (2) years of undergraduate studies in abusiness-related bachelor's degree program Academic strength demonstrated by a cumulative GPA of 3.0. or higher Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines Adaptability to work well independently and as part of a team Strong sense of accountability and professionalism Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word and Excel Compensation: The pay rate for this position is $18.00 hourly. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
