Under the direction of the School of Medicine (SOM) Assistant Dean for Data Analytics and Business Intelligence and in collaboration with the Associate Dean for SOM Finance, SOM Controller, and SOM Finance Directors, drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide data strategies that support Duke University's missions in clinical care, research, and education. The successful incumbent will gather and analyze data, prepare reports and visualizations to drive business analytics, and assist with the development and maintenance of internal dashboards to improve data access across the School of Medicine Administrative Units and Departments, Centers, and Institutes. This role oversees data governance, business intelligence, and analytics initiatives across the School of Medicine and Duke University Health System. The Senior Director advises executive leadership, fosters data-driven decision-making, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to enhance data infrastructure, integration, and innovation. Work Arrangement - Hybrid Anticipated Pay Range - Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $111,129.00 to USD $222,260.00. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training - Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, computer science, public health, or related technical fields. Experience - 10+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, BI, or governance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in full-lifecycle development processes related to data modeling/warehousing, business intelligence, and application development in an academic environment. Be Bold. Skills
