Position Title: Quality Control
Wage: $20.00 - $24.00/hour Shift: 1st or 2nd Hours: 5:00am - 1:30pm or 1:30pm - 12:00am Are you simply working for the weekend? Apply now to begin your meaningful career through QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available in Quality Control at a company in Kenosha, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today! Quality Control Responsibilities: - Write CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programs in PC-DMIS and verify dimensional layouts according to blueprints - Complete internal and external PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process) according to customer specifications - Perform technical inspections/measurements of products using equipment, requiring exacting tolerances, using equipment such as a CMM, comparator, surface finish test equipment and related - Check first piece-part layout and tooling to tool print and customer part drawings - Supply inspection data to engineering, manufacturing and quality areas, and technical personnel at the customer's site - Adhere to ISO quality procedures - Perform dimensional inspections - Perform lay-out, first piece and in process - Check first piece-part layout and tooling to tool print and customer part drawings - Supply inspection data to engineering, manufacturing and quality areas and technical personnel at the customer's site - Adhere to ISO quality procedures - Use precision inspection measuring devices - Communicate with customer / vendor quality and engineering to achieve print compliant parts and components - Review work orders (written or verbal) and determine specific inspection requirements / needs - Conduct inspections and tests (visual, dimensional, content, etc.) on incoming components and materials - Verify and identify / tag incoming components / materials for inventory purposes - Identify, quarantine and document non-conforming parts or materials detected during incoming, WIP or final inspection activities - Prepare and process inspection documents (packets, radiator id tags, etc.) for products - Conduct final inspection or audit of finished goods and ship-loose components to ensure conformance with order - Maintain inspection records relating to individual inspection activities Requirements for Quality Control: - Able to lift 25lbs frequently and 50lbs occasionally kenosha@qpsemployment.com IND015 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
