Position Title: Machine Operator Wage: $20.00-$22.26/Hour Shift/Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM On 2-2-3 Rotation or Monday - Friday 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Reached a dead end at your current job? We are hiring for a top plastics manufacturer in Madison, WI that is seeking enthusiastic Machine Operators to join their collaborative and supportive environment. Don't just work, belong. Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce parts to specification - Machine readiness - inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up; identify issues which adversely affect product requirements - Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution - Critical inspection of the line for FDA/GMP Requirements - Ensure part quality meets established standards - Complete all shift documentation/paperwork - Shift hand-off: go over job status and updates with incoming shift - Participate in safety programs, follow all established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE Requirements For Machine Operator: - Ability to work in warm environments - One year manufacturing or related experience with longevity in work history - Mechanical aptitude - Ability to read, write and speak English to meet training, safety and quality requirements - Basic math skills - Computer and software skills QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
