Position Title: Packaging
Wage: $18.50 - $22.26/Hour Shift: 12 Hour Nights or 3rd Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (2-2-3 Rotation) or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Monday - Friday) We are looking for motivated candidates for our valued client in Madison, WI. These are temp to hire Packaging opportunities for night shift. They offer competitive pay, a clean work environment, and benefits upon hire. Apply today! Packaging Responsibilities: - Inspect and pack product to quality specifications and standards - Apply case labels and maintain proper numerical sequence of cases. Use case taper to secure cases - Verify material for disposal and regrind. Remove tubs of recycling material from the Operations floor - Follow dispatches and print work orders and labels - Process skid and hold tags - Actively participate in layered audits - Identify and communicate deviations or nonconforming product - Participate in safety programs, follow all established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE Requirements For Packaging: - Ability to work in warm environments - Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist and stand for long periods of time - Manufacturing experience preferred with longevity in work history - Mechanical aptitude - Ability to read, write and speak English to meet training, safety and quality requirements - Basic math skills - Computer and software skills QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
