As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for customers and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft and/or property damage.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and interact with store staff and/or visitors in a courteous manner.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as necessary during critical situations.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid armed guard card or armed guard license is required.
• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• You must be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
