POSITION SUMMARY: The Transfer Center Nurse is responsible for coordinating patient admissions and transfers between Boston Medical Center Health System facilities. This role ensures a smooth, efficient, and safe transition of patients by acting as a liaison among patients, healthcare providers, and receiving facilities. The position requires strong clinical knowledge, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Requires license to practice professional nursing as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Decision Making: Demonstrates ability to make sound and timely decisions that are guided by precedents, policy & procedure and overall goals and objectives, is able to choose the best course of action based on analysis of available information, and can develop alternative courses of action
Compensation Range: $39.90- $57.93This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
