Title: Chlor Alkali Business Planning Manager
Location: Houston, TX

Relocation Available

Salary: $96,120 - $145,440
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week.

Focus: In this role you will support the CAPV executive Supply, Operations and Planning Processes. You will focus on development and execution of EDC, VCM, and HCl production schedules to meet all customer demand. This role also has people leadership responsibilities.

Chlor Alkali Business Planning Manager Essential Job Functions:

  • Support scenario planning, system assessments, feasibilities, and tactical planning through the ESOP process with outputs (reports) for review by CEO and staff.
  • Leadership of EDC, VCM, HCL and PVC product planning, including production schedules meeting all pipeline demand and customer shipments.
  • Working collaboratively with the Demand and Supply/Ops teams, manage the EDC/VCM system balance, to drive operational effectiveness and ensure actions remain in line with our overall plan for the system.
  • Optimization of the Vinyls and HCL integration at large sites working across multiple businesses and companies.
  • Assume people leadership for Business Planner, developing and building employee skills and optimizing their contribution to the organization.

Chlor Alkali Business Planning Manager Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree*; Engineering, Chemistry, Business preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience spanning multiple functions such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and/or Commercial Business.
  • Manufacturing experience within Chlor Alkali industry preferred.
  • Project management and team based problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate across the organization while identifying and prioritizing actions to achieve desired business results.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • People leadership experience in a relevant position preferred.

*Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.
