Vaco is working with a global manufacturer in CT seeking a high-energy business partner to join their global aerospace team as Manager, Financial Planning Analysis, driving reporting, analytics, and strategic value creation. This remote role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with senior leadership on planning, forecasting, and executing critical initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Partner with leadership to manage operating system cadence including monthly business reviews, performance metrics, corrective actions, financial modeling, quarterly assessments, and annual strategic planning
  • Support operational sites in implementing planning, forecasting, and reporting tools
  • Analyze monthly performance against targets, historical trends, forecasts, and industry benchmarks
  • Track and report on value creation initiatives, partnering with site leadership to ensure accountability
  • Drive profitability and accountability to organizational commitments
  • Collaborate with Leadership Team to advance strategic objectives
  • Evaluate and drive capital investment processes, restructuring, and enterprise initiatives
  • Support transaction review activities and financial analysis for potential business actions
  • Develop strategic assessments based on macro market trends
  • Drive working capital optimization across the organization
  • Lead monthly forecast reviews to identify risks and opportunities for improved accuracy
  • Support preparation of business case analyses for growth opportunities
  • Monitor existing growth initiatives and drive optimization efforts
  • Lead functional improvements to financial reporting, planning, and forecasting processes
  • Prepare executive-level presentation materials as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive financial and operational experience
  • Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical business practices
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience implementing and enhancing financial consolidation and business intelligence systems
