This position requires you to be working in office, 3 days per week, from our Bala Cynwyd, PA office. Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Supply Planning, the Senior Supply Planning Manager is responsible for implementing supply chain strategies, managing inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of items to meet customer demand. Key Responsibilities
- Collaboration with Suppliers: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and to meet the company's needs. Ability to lead CPRF with strategic suppliers. Review and identify bottlenecks to develop contingency strategies. Monitor performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supply Chain Strategy execution: Implement effective supply planning strategies to align with demand forecasts and business objectives.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and optimize inventory levels to balance costs with service levels, ensuring materials and products are available when needed.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure seamless operations and to address any supply chain disruptions.
- Performance Reporting: Generate and present supply chain performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics such as inventory turnover and DOS
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, implementing contingency plans to address potential disruptions.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and responsiveness in the supply chain, implementing innovative strategies as needed
Education and Experience
- Bachelors/University degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management or related Business degree required.
- APICS CSCP or IBF Certification a plus
- 8 years of experience in Supply planning in CPG/Retail Space.
- 2+ years People Leader experience
- Strong communication, networking and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Business Intelligence software
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated collaboration across multiple functional disciplines
- Very analytical mindset, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations
- Experience in utilizing Tier 1 and Tier 2 ERP systems
- Detail oriented, self-starter, working independently and comfortable taking initiative
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Excellent understanding of forecasting and forecast analysis techniques along with their financial and operational impacts
