The part-time Instructional Designer supports the development of an online Canvas course for the
BOOST Academy and other student services focused training. This role focuses on designing and assembling a high-quality asynchronous learning experience using content developed by subject matter experts and the Professional Development Coordinator. |

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor. |
| KSA's/Required Qualifications |
- Experience designing courses in Canvas or a similar learning management system.
- Familiarity with Cidi Labs (or the ability to learn it quickly) for enhancing Canvas design and formatting.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and best practices for asynchronous instruction.
- Demonstrated skill in creating accessible, user-friendly, and visually consistent online content.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a diverse team.
- Coursework completed in Information Technology, instructional design and/or adult learning principles
