As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible throughout the facility. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures at the food and beverage production location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors as required by site-specific protocols.
• Provide customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with all individuals entering or exiting the premises, addressing questions and offering assistance as needed.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, including those related to food and beverage industry regulations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, taking note of any irregularities or concerns.
• Document and report all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, following all site-specific emergency preparedness plans.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
