Enbridge Gas Utah is looking for a Gas Technologist I to join their team. This is the entry level of the Technologist job family. This role is guided by technical theory, standardized practices, existing processes, and general work assignment. Decision making is closely guided by technical or operational guidelines and/or incumbents have immediate access to guidance or supervision.

What you will do:

  • Provide critical support in the creation and execution of piping infrastructure replacement projects on the natural gas distribution system.
  • Receive survey data, research records and create project construction drawings for the replacement of intermediate high pressure natural gas piping.
  • Learn develop and take on assignments of increasing complexity in order to gain knowledge/experience of the company, technical processes, methods and practices.
  • Interact with outside jurisdictions, learning city, county and state construction and permitting requirements.
  • Collaborate with Internal/External stakeholders.
  • Communication is verbal and written and typically consists of the collection and relay of basic facts.
  • Additional assignments may include analysis, data collection, mathematical calculations, research, writing reports, presenting updates to management and outside jurisdictions.

Who you are:

  • 0-2 years related work experience in design and/or CAD.
  • Associate preferred in CAD Design, Engineering, Engineering Technology Technical Studies An equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education.

For Internal Use Only: The Enbridge title for this position is Gas Technologist I and it is associated with an E400 salary grade

Salary Range - $57,200 to $91,400 depending on experience.

This is a safety sensitive role and the successful candidate will undergo various background screening that includes a Driving record, criminal check, Education & Employment verification, a company sponsored medical and drug testing.
