Job Description:

Crowe's Performance Improvement practice helps clients significantly improve their profitability by taking operational challenges, developing an executable improvement plan, quantifying the financial value associated with implementing the improvements and partnering with our clients to capture the savings.

As an Operational Excellence Consultant Intern in the Performance Improvement practice, you will assist with projects for current engagements. Provide a holistic approach to help identify business improvement opportunities, suggest possible solutions, work on initiatives, be an integral part of the development of resources and various disciplines needed to execute the process.

  • Providing consulting support services on assessments utilizing analytical skills to understand client environments and associated financial opportunities
  • Assisting with the development and deploying of internal controls and organizational metrics dashboards per regulations and/or client needs
  • Researching and devising solutions to continuous process improvement strategies and initiatives
  • Providing continuous support of the scope of work as assigned and ensure deliverables are achieved on time and within budget
  • Collaborating with other consultants with the flexibility of Lean, Six Sigma and Performance Improvement tools to enhance productivity
  • Providing other value-added recommendations

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Rising Senior-level students pursuing an engineering or operations management degree.

3.0 or above GPA

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong background in supply chain with interest in procurement and the logistics industry.
  • Collaborate and develop partnerships in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to interact with internal teams and external client contacts using strong team building and communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Exhibits strong communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with proficient Excel, PowerPoint abilities

Must be willing to travel 80%-100%

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $27.00 - $42.00 per hour.
