Title: Maintenance Marshaling, Stocking, Kitting Lead
Location: Freeport, Texas

Salary: $65,904 - $90,576
Schedule: 5-8s, 4-10s, 9/80's

Focus: The Marshaling, Stocking, Kitting Lead is responsible for managing the flow of materials into and out of the Freeport site Maintenance & Repair Operations (MRO) warehouse and assisting in the Global Materials Management Work Process. This role will support a group of plants at the Freeport Site and is expected to assist across multiple areas at the site and throughout the corporation.

The Freeport site is the single largest chlor alkali complex in the world with more than 1,000 employees. The chemical products produced at our Freeport location include chlorine and caustic soda, vinyls, epoxies, chlorinated organics, aromatics, bleach, hydrogen, and hydrochloric acid.

Marshaling, Stocking, Kitting Lead Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinate with the assigned area Marshaller to maintain MRO inventories at assigned levels, optimizing levels where appropriate. Assist Inventory Coordinators in managing obsolete and/or surplus items according to best practices.
  • Assist in standardizing items/materials across not only the Freeport site but also across all of the Global Materials Management System.
  • Assist in managing equipment/part reservations for plants. Coordinate with delivery foreman to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Coordinate the building of material/item "kits" for daily maintenance and turnaround work.
  • Manage the flow of materials, items coming into the warehouse and items sent out to the plants.
  • Assist in the yearly cycle count process. Function as a technical focal point for items that are currently in process or to be inventoried.
  • Create and update Item Labeling and SAP information. Work with Inventory Coordinators to ensure accuracy of item descriptions and labeling.
  • Actively contribute to work process improvements.

Marshaling, Stocking, Kitting Lead Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse/material handling required.
  • Knowledgeable in MRO processes (marshalling, stocking, kitting), order reservation procedures, Technical and Engineering specifications, and various types of chemical plant equipment.
  • SAP and Excel experience required; must be able to track and create reports on usage and slow-moving inventories.
  • Physically capable of working in a warehouse environment, including regular use of ladders and stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis.
  • Must be able to obtain Forklift Certification within 3 months of start date.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience leading a team/group preferred.
  • Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license.
