Job Summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Business Analysis Staff who will be responsible for analyzing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. This position works across departments to evaluate workflows, extract and interpret data, and develop actionable insights. This role gathers and documents business requirements, lead process improvement initiatives, and communicates findings and recommendations to stakeholders to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site located at our facility in Chantilly, VA.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimizations.
  • Collaborate across the corporation to recognize areas for process improvement to enhance effectiveness in project planning and resource assignments.
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Identify potential risks and issues within business processes and propose mitigation strategies
  • Work closely with technical teams to recognize and prioritize areas where Artificial Intelligence (AI) can enhance enterprise portfolio and project management.
  • Create detailed business cases that outline the potential ROI and strategic benefits of AI implementations for enterprise portfolio and project management.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings, recommendations, and project status to senior management.

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements for the Business Analysis Staff II:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or other related field
  • Three or more years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of organizational management standards, principles, and concepts with the ability to provide solutions to a variety of workforce planning problems
  • Good understanding of business process modeling and documentation, data analysis, and technology solutions
  • Stronganalytical skills and experience in technology environments
  • Strong project management skills

In addition to the above, the minimum requirements for the Business Analysis Staff III include:

  • Six or more years of relevant experience

How You Can Stand Out

It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:

  • Advanced degree in related field
  • At least 1 year focused on AI/ML experience
  • Certification in project management (I.e. PMI-PMP, Lean/Six Sigma) and/or business analysis (I.e. CBAP, PMI-PBA)
