Job Summary

Responsible for Human Resources and cross-functional teams' transactions according to standard operational procedures while promoting a best-in-class customer experience.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Works within a team to receive various HR transaction requests that support the associate experience.
  • Collaborates with transaction requesters as necessary to obtain complete data and enters within appropriate systems using a high level of attention to detail following standard operating protocols. Communication of completion via standard protocols.
  • Provides timely communication and clear instructions to candidates throughout the hire workflow process for completion of pre-employment screening, start date confirmation and pre-boarding.
  • Coordinates with pre-employment vendors and candidates to finalize drug and background checks.
  • Ensures new hire data is complete and accurate prior to hire.
  • Supports staffing compliance by monitoring key processes and appropriate completion of the recruiting process. Reviews processes and creates standard operating procedure documents.
  • Effectively partners with other internal departments to accomplish tasks.
  • Adheres to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and supports KPI (Key Performance Indicators) tracking as requested.
  • Works efficiently and expediently to accomplish goals.
  • Works to identify and correct errors.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Nature and Scope

  • Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
  • Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
  • Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable

Education and Experience

  • HS Diploma or GED, strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 1-3 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and data entry procedures.
  • Prior human resources experience.
  • Familiarity with payroll/benefits systems and procedures.
  • Skills beneficial in the role include attention to detail, customer service, accuracy in data entry, collaboration and communication.
