Quality Specialist - ISO 9001 Champion (Manufacturing Excellence)

A family-oriented, long-standing manufacturing organization known for its stability and values-driven culture is seeking an experienced Quality Specialist to take ownership of its ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for a quality professional who thrives in a hands-on, collaborative environment and is passionate about continuous improvement, audit readiness, and operational excellence.

Hours & Compensation

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 annually

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Employment Type: Direct Hire

What You'll Do



  • Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
  • Ensure audit readiness through documentation control, internal audits, and cross-functional coordination
  • Manage corrective and preventive actions, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification
  • Oversee daily quality control activities such as inspections, sampling, and testing
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive corrective actions
  • Investigate product and process non-conformities and lead resolution efforts
  • Maintain controlled documents, including SOPs, work instructions, and forms
  • Deliver QMS and audit-preparedness training across teams
  • Ensure compliance with internal specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Production to implement process improvements

What We're Looking For



  • 5+ years of progressive quality experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and hands-on experience with ISO 9001 auditing
  • Degree or diploma in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive accountability
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for audits, training, or vendor engagement


Work Environment



  • On-site role at a manufacturing facility in Markleville, IN
  • Combination of office and production floor work
  • PPE required in designated areas
