Core Responsibilities Receives and assigns pallet ID tags to palletized products, inventories them properly using a teklogix scan gun. Checks assigned coolers' inventory daily against a computerized print out, checks records for discrepancies notifying Supervisor of same and corrects data in the system as authorized. Loads trailers and transfers inventory from the cooler area to a trailer using the computerized inventory control program. Runs daily inventory and other reports required to perform job duties. Sorts and stacks product according to product code or load number. Visually inspect pallets, using only those in good condition, stacking unusable ones off to the side. Uses cardboard sheets to cover each pallet. Wraps, using cardboard corners on necessary loads, and transports each stock pallet load to appropriate areas. Polices coolers to keep them clean and free of debris. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor(s). Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), preferred. Willingness to add to knowledge base and skillset. Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment. Work Environment and Physical Demands The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
