This position leads and facilitates the development, planning, management, and coordination of various Healthcare Experience and Health Equity initiatives. The Manager is responsible for maintaining strategic business relationships and is the point of contact for business partners, consultants and vendor relationships used to execute on the vision of Healthcare Experience and Health Equity for all.

This position is data driven, responsible for establishing outcome metrics tied to program deliverables that reflect the performance of new, innovative strategies to improve health outcomes for all members. The Manager will represent the Health Plan in various settings, presenting the commitment, programs and improvements the Health Plan has set forth in relation to Healthcare Experience and Health Equity. This position will also oversee the strategy and execution of CAHPS and HOS initiatives, partnering closely with provider partners. The Manager will demonstrate the Mission and Core Values of Providence in all facets their work.

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Social or Health Sciences or closely related field.
  • 8 years progressive leadership experience working in or with a managed care or health care organization or similar field.
  • 5 years proactive efforts towards health equity, diversity or inclusion demonstrating health equity principles.
  • 3 years demonstrable project management, program management and business analysis experience.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration or related field.
  • Coursework/Training: Training in one or more of the following: Lean, Agile, Six Sigma or Change Acceleration Process (CAP).
  • 2 years Change management experience, trained or versed in Lean principles and methodologies.
  • 5 years experience working for a Health Plan.

  • California: All Southern California - Except Bakersfield: Min: $63.50, Max: $100.26
  • California: Bakersfield: Min: $60.92, Max: $96.18
  • Oregon: Non-Portland Service Area: Min: $56.79, Max: $89.66
  • Oregon: Portland Service Area: Min: $60.92, Max: $96.18
  • Washington: Western - Except Tukwila: Min: $63.50, Max: $100.26
  • Washington: Southwest - Olympia, Centralia & Below: Min: $60.92, Max: $96.18
  • Washington: Tukwila: Min: $63.50, Max: $100.26
  • Washington: Eastern: Min: $54.21, Max: $85.59
  • Washington: Southeastern: Min: $56.79, Max: $89.66
