With a human-focused approach, Vervint provides a roadmap for success inherent in design, empathy, and ingenuity. At Vervint, our purpose is progress, and we are out to improve lives by keeping humanity at the core of every solution.

What You'll Accomplish:

  • Consultative Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to the customer's internal product owner, providing guidance on product strategy, backlog prioritization, and agile best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with client teams, understanding their goals, constraints, and regulatory requirements.
  • Backlog Management: Collaborate with internal and external teams to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Requirements Translation: Convert high-level business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure all deliverables meet government standards, security protocols, and accessibility requirements.
  • Facilitation: Lead workshops, sprint planning, and review sessions to maintain transparency and shared understanding across all stakeholders.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years in product ownership or product management roles, preferably in consulting or client-facing environments.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years' experience in the last five (5) years leading a project for a health and human services organization.
  • Prior experience working with government agencies or regulated industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence without direct authority.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent preferred.
