Experience Controller

Must be a Certified Public Accountant

10+ years of relevant experience.

Strong time management skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and ambiguity.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills for pricing models and data analysis.

Deep knowledge of FAR and CAS.

Exp with Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and support government audits (DCAA/DCMA).

Exp with Administer treasury functions, banking, global payments, and related entries; review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, vouchers, and payables.

Desired Experience:

Specific knowledge of and experience with corporate accounting and financial reporting management in the Government Contracting industry

Specific knowledge of and experience with compliance related documentation, testing, audit, and remediation procedures in the Government Contracting industry.

Bachelor's degree in a business-related field from an accredited institution.

DUTIES

Controller will manage daily accounting functions and participate in planning, analyzing, and reporting on overall financial performance. The role requires independence, adaptability, and up-to-date industry knowledge.

Oversee all accounting functions to ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and FAR regulations.

Manage month-end and year-end closings accurately and on time; prepare and analyze financial statements and specialty reports for leadership.

Lead and supervise accounting and compliance staff to ensure timely completion of daily, monthly, and annual tasks.

Maintain and improve accounting systems, process controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and support government audits (DCAA/DCMA).

Administer treasury functions, banking, global payments, and related entries; review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, vouchers, and payables.

Ensure compliance with tax requirements and corporate certifications; oversee credit card programs.

Plan and assign work for efficiency; conduct performance reviews, approve time off, and recommend merit increases.

Participate in hiring processes and perform other duties as assigned.
