The SwOps 'Bench Top Engineer' (BTE) / Scanner Simulator Engineer' (SSE) will be responsible for defining, designing, implementing, testing, delivering, tracking, and providing status on 'All' Bench Top Task Force's (BTTF) Deliverables.

These deliverables include, but are not limited to Designing, Building, Modifying, Testing, Validating, and Debugging of a variety of the Software Development (SDev) and Software Integration (SInt) Groups' Bench Tops, Racks, Scanner Simulators, and 'Stand-Alone' Test Equipment.

The BTE / SSE will be required to Support and Execute the 'Deliverables' specified in the 'BTTF Road Map' by Analyzing, Writing, and Executing 'Complex' Manual' and 'Automated Test 'Setup' Procedures, Maintaining Test Automation Python Scripts, Creating/Maintaining Test Documentation, Assisting/Supporting Debugging and Modification of Software, Creating/Executing 'Software Commissioning' on Test Benches, 'Qualifying' SCS Creating, Releasing, and Maintaining BT & SCS Schematics, Component Layouts, Bills of Material (BOM), Analyzing/Documenting Test Results to ensure existing functionality, Recommending Corrective Actions as needed, Debugging/Troubleshooting Issues, and Consulting with Development Engineers to expeditiously 'Resolve Issues.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strictly Adhere to ALL ASML and BTTF Safety Policies.

  • Support installing ASML Operating Systems; Rel-Server, Raptor Service Laptop, or DVD.

  • Provide support troubleshooting Linux Operating Systems.

  • Support Networking Troubleshooting and Setup (DNS, DHCP, IPs, subnets, VLANs, etc.).

  • Evaluate and Provide Feedback on 'Proposed' BT/SCS HW Mods/Functionality.

  • Execute, Update, Maintain 'Complex Test Cases' and Document 'Test Results'.

  • Align with SInt/SDev SPTs to isolate and understand problems and resolve issues.

  • Collect 'Problems/Issues' Data and report 'Root Cause' findings/resolution to Stakeholders.

  • Lead Creating/Maintaining 'BTTF Metrics'; BT, Rack, and SCS 'Availability/Reliability'.

  • Creating Documentation for Custom Builds or Install Instructions.

  • collaborate with multiple teams to organize hardware installations and qualifications.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Education and experience
  • BSEE, BSME, BSCS, or 'Related Bachelor of Science' Degree with 2+ years' experience.

  • 'Hands-On' Experience Designing, Building, Upgrading, Maintaining, and Debugging of 'Complex' Test Equipment highly desirable.

  • Python Scripting Experience Creating, Modify, Debug Automated Scripts.

  • Ability to Build 'Complex' Test equipment from Assembly Schematics and Cable Overviews.

  • Familiarity with ASML Tools Cerberus, Team Center, Coach, Scanner VDI (for Repos Access).

  • Expertise/experience using VOMs, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, and others.

  • Experience using 'Documents' to 'Qualify/Validate 'Complex' Test Systems.

  • Ability to Support, Deliver, and Provide 'Timely' Status to Management and Stakeholders.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills with the ability to work Cross Functionally within ASML.

  • Experience using Power Tools and building Server Racks.

  • Knowledge in Soldering PCB components desired.

  • Understanding on how to build Custom Cables, Dummies, and Jumpers.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$106,500-177,500

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
