Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Only W2 Contractors)

Location: Irvine, CA 92618

Shift Timing: 1st

Pay Rate: $55/hr. on w2 without benefits

Pre-Screening Question:

  • Do you have experience with Applied Thermodynamics And Mechanical Design?
  • Do you have experience with electrical and electrical circuits and control theory?
  • Do you have with test and hardware experience?


NOTE:

  • Must Have Experience With Applied Thermodynamics And Mechanical Design.
  • Experience in the development of military or aerospace equipment is a strong plus


Job Description:

  • Carries out engineering assignments concerned with the planning and design of mechanically functioning equipment and processes. Performs drawing reviews from Drafters/Designers. Supports Engineers for simple to medium level complexity projects.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Designs mechanical equipment, systems and processes. Performs calculations and analyses to ensure suitability of design. Solves problems related to the assembly, repair and test of environmental control systems.
  • Under general supervision, performs assignments which involve responsibility for a secondary project or a part of a major project.
  • May give direction to Drafters/Designers.
  • Works with colleagues in the department and in other departments. Writes reports as required. Presents designs to peers, other engineers and customers.


Required Experience:

  • BSME from accredited college experience in designing mechanical components/subsystems and applying ASME Y14.5M. Works under constant supervision. Performs assignments of mild complexity and assists other Engineers.
  • Knowledge of drawing and drafting standards. Knowledge of applied thermodynamics and mechanical design.
  • Experience in the development of military or aerospace equipment is a strong plus. Understanding of military specifications, environmental specifications, and test specifications a plus.
  • Experience with electrical and electrical circuits and control theory a plus.
