Requirements for internal applicant:



  • Approval from your supervisor is not required to apply for any position. However, you must tell your supervisor of your intent to apply.
  • Talent Management will consult with the current supervisor to ensure that the employee has good attendance, is in good standing and not on any Corrective Action plans.
  • A minimum of two weeks must be provided to transfer into a new position. Some departments are more flexible depending on the nature of the job, and notice may be negotiated between current and future supervisors. Talent Acquisition will coordinate the transfer between departments.

Sun Loan Company is currently looking for reliable, ambitious, and exceptional Customer Service Center Loan Specialist to join our dynamic team! Our ideal candidate is goal-driven and eager to learn about consumer finance and start a fulfilling career.


The Customer Service Center Loan Specialist provides support to Sun Loan customers and branch offices from a centralized Customer Service Center. Support is provided by underwriting loans and contacting borrowers to assist in the completion of loan funding.


Responsibilities:



  • Reviews loan applications along with supporting documentation for approval or denial.
  • Contact applicant to review loan approval and gather additional documentation as needed.
  • Encourage borrower to fund the loan by discussing payments amounts and terms.
  • Process loans and send documents to borrower electronically.
  • Assist borrower with documents to ensure completion and funding of loan.
  • Handle inbound customer calls regarding consumer installment loans and servicing loan accounts.
  • Review and assign unmatched documents in document repository.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Requirements:



  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a call center environment or consumer finance.
  • Understanding of policy and procedure regarding loan underwriting and documentation.
  • Understanding of loan management software preferred.
  • Microsoft Office 365 experience including Outlook, Word, Sharepoint and Teams.
  • Bilingual preferred.



Work Schedule:



  • 10am - 7pm Monday - Friday
  • 2 Saturdays/month (8:30am - 12:30pm) Possibly more as determined by the specific needs of the business
  • 4-week paid training (8am-5pm). Training hours may not coincide with your assigned schedule.
