Essential Duties and Responsibilities

WHAT TO EXPECT


As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. We are searching for a Finance Manager Located in our Salem, NH based manufacturing plant.


As a Finance Manager you are responsible for overseeing all accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with corporate policies and regulations within the plant you sit. The ideal candidate will partner closely with operations and executive leadership to drive efficiency, support decision-making, and improve profitability through insightful financial analysis and robust internal controls.



Key responsibilities (to name a few):



  • Own full responsibility for the plant's Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheet, ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies, and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee month-end close process, including preparation and coordination of journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Lead annual budgeting activities, including labor, overhead, and standard product costing.
  • Manage weekly and monthly forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial projections.
  • Coordinate and prepare financial reports for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end using both traditional and flexible models.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial metrics in support of local Operations and Corporate Finance teams.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to support capital project approval processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, SOX requirements, and corporate policies.
  • Oversee local functions including product costing, payroll, accounts payable, and fixed asset management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop members of the finance team to support professional growth and department goals.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

ABOUT YOU



  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • 3 plus years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and SQL queries.
  • Experience with standard product cost accounting.
  • Microsoft Dynamics strongly preferred
  • ERP system experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

PAY & BENEFITS



  1. Full-Time
  2. Salary Range - $90,000 - $110,000
  3. Relocation is not provided
  4. Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits beginonthe first day of the month immediately following your date of hire
  5. Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued
  6. 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match
  7. Tuition Reimbursement
