Position Overview

This role oversees inventory control operations-covering manual and clerical duties tied to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a wide range of materials, equipment, and supplies. You maintain the production plan by evaluating and improving production-control methods, ensuring accurate receiving/put-away, and staging materials to meet line needs. You consistently promote safety and embody The Terex Way Values in all aspects of your work.

Key Responsibilities

* Adhere to and promote Terex safety policies and The Terex Way Values; commit to Zero Harm.

* Stage and load outbound trucks with major/minor components; ensure correct documentation and sequencing.

* Maintain adherence to material handler standard work (e.g., parts handling/storage, cleaning areas).

* Assign and adjust forklift coverage by area to meet production takt and sequence needs.

* Remove waste items from production areas; uphold 5S standards.

* Receive incoming material; stack and arrange in designated storage areas with accurate system transactions.

* Provide oversight of the small-parts supermarket; align stocking strategy and replenishment with Material Coordinator.

* Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, dollies) to move stock and reorganize storage.

* Coordinate with Production Control, Purchasing, and Supervisors to maintain the correct build sequence.

* Actively engage in team problem solving; assist with ECNs/change orders/deviations to ensure material readiness.

* Provide skills training and mentoring to Terex team members; model servant leadership behaviors.

* Work to improve processes within the area-use appropriate tools to eliminate waste and reduce overall business costs.

* Perform all other duties as assigned to meet production and customer commitments.

Basic Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience at Terex in a materials role and/or 4+ years of related materials experience.

Preferred Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

* Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions; basic computer skills (ERP, inventory transactions).

* Comprehensive knowledge of materials handling practices; skill with equipment/tools, judgment, interpersonal skills, math, reading and writing.

* Able to cover primary Material Coordinator responsibilities or demonstrate similar capabilities in prior roles.

* May provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a subordinate group.

Physical Requirements

Work is classified as medium to heavy:
* 10-40 lbs of force frequently (including push/pull/lift).
* 40-100 lbs of force occasionally with assistance (machinery or team).
* Ability to stand on concrete for 10+ hours per shift.

The salary range for this position is $21.63 to $26.55 per hour, plus $1.25/hr in lead pay.
