Associate Director SPD Operations Sterile Processing Full Time 87040BR Job Summary The Associate Director of Operations (Ops) plans and oversees the application of staff and technical resources of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) in support of ongoing day-to-day operations. This role works closely with SPD managers and external stakeholders as necessary to ensure operational efficiency, patient safety, and staff morale. The associate director of Operations promotes the development of a motivated and cohesive team and supports educational strategies to enhance staff performance in processing practices and service delivery, as well as growth and developmental opportunities. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $143,900 - $215,800 (Annual Rate). Specialty instrumentation includes but is not limited to: General surgery, GU, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Maxillofacial, Neurosurgery including stereotactic procedures, Cardiothoracic, Transplant, Orthopedic, Plastics, and ENT.
