The salary range for this role, based in Fort Smith, is $81,040.00 to $101,300.00. The range may vary if the role outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Purpose of the position

The OpEx Manager utilizing Lean Principles will work with the sites on operational Excellence projects and initiatives to drive Operational Excellence and effectiveness to improve performance, drive waste reduction and maximize value. Will collaborate with various functions- Safety, Operations, Asset care, Quality, HR, Finance and stake holders to deliver financial and operational benefits.

  • Focus Improvement: - Provide thought leadership, subject matter expertise and additional support in developing practical solutions to complex analytical problems. Facilitate problem solving workshops with cross functional teams to address operational performance issues (efficiency, quality, costs) as needed across the site using six sigma philosophies and techniques.
  • Culture: Serve as a coach to embed Sustainable Operational Excellence culture. Ensure Best practices align with the company ambitions. Live the PR values.
  • Capabilities: Build capabilities, Be SME in Operational Excellence to operators and leaders. Be a qualified Trainer. Provide Technical support on the floor.
  • Process Improvement: Be the driver of Strategic/ OPEX initiatives, Standardize the WOW, ensure all processes are documented and track.Provide insights to all data and including Loss and Waste generated.
  • Strategic initiatives: Execute Strategic initiatives to deliver growth and reduce waste.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety: Model safety behavior and culture at sites to support zero LTA.s
  • Waste: Conduct Loss and Waste analysis and then drive reduction in waste streams highlighted in Loss and Waste analysis
  • Focused Improvement: Coach and support all levels of problem solving at all levels of the organization
  • Project Management: Prioritize safety and quality in all projects. Drive sustainability and delivery through excellent execution
  • Strategy: Keep up to date with Industry changes to further improve key operations. Support the build of future strategy. Support the implementation of key initiatives to improve Bottling, Processing, and Warehouse operations.
  • Planning: Link with planning to drive effective planning of operations
  • Logistics: Collaborate with Logistics to support process improvement in the E2E Supply Chain.
  • Collaboration: Engage all stakeholders by creating energy and momentum to enlist their alignment and commitment. Involve all employees, mentoring and empowering them. The KPI improvement goal is to WORLD CLASS.
  • KPI's: Monitor, provide insights, responsible for improved performance
  • Customer: Demonstrate Good E2E supply knowledge and VOC
  • Communication : Communicate clearly and concisely across a wide range of stakeholders and cultures. Provide updates across various methods to all levels of leadership.
  • Analytical Skills: Provide insights to drive Operational Excellence.
  • Benchmark: Benchmark initially internally and then externally to sustain performance.
  • GMP: Follow, lead and coach Good Manufacturing Procedures, 5S rules and rules for Food Safety Regulations and Quality.

Qualifications for CI Manager

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or Engineering.
  • 5+ years track record in an Operations/ manufacturing environment
  • Advanced training in Lean manufacturing
  • Exceptional influencing skills and qualified training skills.
  • Demonstrated high performance coaching skills
  • Demonstrated passion for OPEX
  • Self motivated, resilient
  • Handle Multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • PROVEN Leadership skills in change management, managing successful teams, delivering performance in complex environments.
  • Solid expertise (demonstrated) in a CPG company implementing World class CI
  • Proven record of working across multiple cultures with strong impact
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
