What You'll Do
  • Sustain 24/7 manufacturing operations,utilizingworking knowledge of mechanical, electrical,andcontrolssystems torespond toescalationsandquicklyresolveequipment failures oraddressqualityconcerns. Employ structured problem-solving techniques tocontain, root-cause, andeliminatefailure modes
  • Take ownership of manufacturing processes,analyzing performancemetricsandoptimizingequipment to maximize safety and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), driving world-classprocess qualityand manufacturing capacity.Collaborate with Control, Process, and Quality Engineers todrive continuousimprovementprojectstooptimizeproduction lineserviceability,reliability,throughput,andprocesscapability
  • Lead the design,development,and deployment ofequipment upgrades or installation, coordinating with internal teams or external integrators.Develop andmaintainequipment and process documentation such asEquipment Maintenance Specifications,safety guidelines,BOMs, schematics,and operation procedures.Conduct risk assessments for equipment under development and lead safety buyoffs before launch
  • Design NFPA79/NEC/UL508A-compliant control panels and create detailed electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA-compliant safety systems for new or modified equipment
  • Partnerwith Maintenance Technicianson servicing and improving manufacturing equipment.Collaborateon theimplementationor improvement ofPreventive and Corrective Maintenanceprocedures and provide training on the critical skills necessary for equipment repair or modification

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering(preferred Mechanical or Mechatronic), or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an automated, fast-pacedmanufacturing environments, including exposure to safety best practicesand change management systems
  • Strong mechanical design and analysis skills, engineeringmechanicsand kinematics fundamentals. Experience with 3D CAD designand tooling manufacturing;SolidWorksrequired
  • Practical experience with the operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and systems, including conveyors, pneumatics, servos, automated paint equipment,and automatedfasteningordispense. First-hand experience with specific equipment manufacturerssuch as SEW, Atlas Copco, Gema, MS Carlisle, Nordson, Wagner, Durr etc.ispreferred
  • Expertisewithreadingand interpretingmechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Working familiarity with automation control systems PLC/HMI/SCADA (preferably Siemens with TIA portal or Allen Bradley) andmotor controller integration; familiarity with safety PLCs
  • Experience commissioning and improvingmanufacturing equipment.Demonstratedtrack recordof Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvement, strong problem-solving skills,and an aptitude for learning systems quickly.Knowledge ofstructured problem-solving techniques such as DMAIC, Ishikawa, Five Why (5W) or Eight Disciplines (8D)
  • Capacity forself-motivation andgoodjudgment,comfort withmanaging a broad scope of responsibilitieswitha strong emphasis on teamwork.Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, complemented by proven project management experience
  • Experience with industrial robot programming (Fanuc, Kuka, Durr, Cartesian, SCARA, or articulated systems)
  • Knowledge or experience in an industrial paint shop is preferred( Paint process, paint equipment, best practices and safety)
  • Willingnesstowork flexible hours, including shift work on nights and weekends as required by business needs

    Expected Compensation
    $86,400 - $178,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
