The Senior Key Account Manager is responsible for the end-to-end strategic, contractual, operational, and commercial management of key customer accounts within the Accurus enterprise. This role provides senior-level leadership in managing the customer relationship, governing all contractual obligations, owning the customer Statement of Work (SOW), and ensuring performance excellence across all supporting Accurus sites. The Senior Key Account Manager serves as the authoritative customer interface - accountable for issue resolution, performance reporting, contract compliance, risk management, strategic communications, and alignment of cross-functional teams to meet customer and enterprise objectives. This position ensures Accurus consistently executes on commitments, delivers predictable performance, and proactively manages commercial, technical, and operational matters that influence customer satisfaction and business outcomes. Serve as the senior relationship owner and primary point of escalation for assigned customer accounts.
*
Develop and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with customer leadership and key functional stakeholders.
*
Drive strategic alignment between customer objectives and Accurus capabilities, ensuring transparency, communication cadence, and proactive engagement.
Contract Governance, SOW Ownership & Commercial Management
*
Own and manage the full customer contract, amendments, and Statement of Work (SOW) requirements across multiple Accurus sites.
*
Lead contractual reviews and ensure compliance with all commercial, delivery, cost, quality, and performance obligations.
*
Manage all contract modifications, including the addition of new parts, updates to pricing, scope changes, and adjustments driven by engineering or customer requirements. Ensure all commercial impacts are properly assessed, documented, negotiated, and incorporated into the contract in a timely manner.
*
Coordinate contract end-of-life activities where required including residual obligations, and transition planning.
*
Provide financial insight and forecasting related to customer-driven changes, obligations, rate adjustments, or penalties.
Performance Management & Reporting
*
Own all performance reporting to the customer, including:
*
Delivery and Quality Ratings (issues, trends, corrective actions, and recovery plans)
*
Customer furnished material delivery performance, ordering status, challenges, and improvement actions
*
Analyze customer scorecards, validate accuracy, drive corrective actions, and ensure timely issue resolution.
*
Deliver monthly and quarterly business reviews (MBRs/QBRs) with customer leadership and internal stakeholders.
*
Provide clear executive summaries, data-based insights, and forward-looking risk assessments.
Delivery, Operations & Supply Chain Alignment
*
Ensure all operational sites meet contractual delivery windows
*
Lead coordination between customer forecasts and Accurus operations, including:
*
Liaising with supply chain on material and hardware procurement strategy relative to customer required lead times and contract coverage
*
Managing demand signals
*
Identifying or mitigating demand-related risks
*
Driving demand leveling with the customer
*
Support resolution of supply chain gaps, capacity issues, or material constraints impacting performance.
Change Management, Lead Times & Program Continuity
*
Manage product lead-times to ensure accurately reflected in the customer system.
*
Manage product lead time changes, including coordination with supply chain, planning, and production teams.
*
Manage introduction of new parts, new requirements, and contract-driven changes across programs.
*
Provide governance and structure to technical, quality, and program issues requiring cross-site coordination.
Customer Portal, Communication & Data Management
*
Oversee customer portal activity, ensuring communications, scorecards, forecasts, and updates are managed timely and distributed to appropriate internal stakeholders.
*
Manage user access, subscriptions, and data governance requirements.
Risk, Issue & Opportunity Management
*
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks that could impact contractual performance, financial outcomes, or customer satisfaction.
*
Lead structured issue resolution-documenting root causes, actions, and closure timelines.
*
Identify and drive opportunities for commercial improvement, rate growth, operational efficiencies, and customer partnership expansion.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Leadership
*
Provide senior leadership across all internal functions - Program Management, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance - to ensure unified execution against customer commitments.
*
Establish and maintain a disciplined operating rhythm for internal reviews, customer communications, and cross-site collaboration.
Governance of Export Compliance & ITAR
*
Support export and ITAR compliance requirements associated with program communication, data management, and customer engagement.
Strategic Partnerships & Industry Presence
*
Identify potential strategic partners to enhance capabilities and competitiveness.
*
Represent Accurus at industry events, customer meetings, conferences, and formal reviews.
*
Support and lead customer or VIP visits to Accurus sites.
Additional Responsibilities for Business Growth
*
Support enterprise growth initiatives, new opportunities, and business development actions when required.
*
Provide backup support to other team members in the Business Development function.
*
Travel domestically and internationally as required.
*
Maintain flexible working hours to support global stakeholders.
Required Education and Work Experience
This role is identified as requiring ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance; therefore, qualified candidates must meet the definition of a U.S. Person (per EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15):

Physical Demands and Work Environment The typical work environment is an office setting; frequently, the employee will be required to visit manufacturing areas where exposure to loud noises, fumes/odors, and hazards associated with moving equipment may occur. The use of PPE, including hearing protection, eye and hand protection, and safety footwear will be required. Travel up to fifty percent (50%) or may be required; some overnight travel will be required. International travel may be required. Valid passport and ability to obtain appropriate business visa(s) is required. Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record is required. | |
