We are currently seeking a skilled Solutions Pricing Analyst to join our growth team and lead the development of pricing strategies and volumes for federal contract opportunities. The Solutions Pricing Analyst will support business development and capture teams by developing compliant, competitive, and defensible pricing strategies for federal opportunities across civilian and defense agencies. They will partner closely with capture managers, solution architects, and operational leads to develop pricing models that reflect customer requirements, corporate strategy, and market realities. They will be responsible for completing the pricing volume and requirements for each opportunity in compliance with the solicitation requirements and estimated level of effort for the pursuit.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
Develop price strategies that align to technical solutions, business goals, and competitive positioning for growth pursuits
- Build detailed cost models, price-to-win assessments, and labor/category mappings for proposals, IDIQ catalogs, and task order submissions.
- Translate PWS requirements, staffing concepts, and solution architectures into accurate Basis of Estimates (BOEs), LOEs, and pricing narratives.
- Lead pricing volume development, including narrative, spreadsheets, staffing/LCAT tables, and required cost forms.
- Support the full lifecycle of acquisition responses, from early pipeline and RFI shaping through final proposal submission and clarifications.
- Conduct pricing analysis, market research, and competitive benchmarking to inform recommended bid strategies and risk considerations
- Analyze pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends and competitors and report data to decision-makers
- Develop measurement tools to identify changing market trend
- Coordinate with finance, contracts, HR, and solution teams to validate inputs, confirm rate structures, and maintain alignment with corporate policies.
- Participate in color-team reviews, provide pricing updates to leadership, and refine models based on feedback or evolving solicitation requirements.
- Maintain reusable pricing templates, tools, and cost databases to improve repeatability and accuracy in future submissions.
- Support the development and maintenance of indirect rate forecasts, wrap-rate models, and pricing baselines used across BD and operations.
- Experience in federal proposal pricing, cost analysis, pricing strategy, or financial modeling.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition and contract types (CPFF, T&M, FFP, IDIQ, BPA, GWAC).
- Experience building cost models in Excel using formulas, pivot tables, lookups, scenarios, and sensitivity analysis.
- Familiarity with price-to-win techniques, market research, and labor category mapping.
- Ability to interpret PWS requirements and translate them into pricing assumptions and resource models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for pricing narratives and justifications.
- High attention to detail and comfort working in fast-paced BD environments with shifting priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple, concurrent deadlines.
- Proactive in identifying and resolving issues that may impact proposal quality or deadlines.
- Experience supporting color reviews or leading pricing volumes on competitive federal proposals.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.

- Salesforce or comparable growth management tool
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in pricing for VA, DHA, DoD, CMS, IRS, or other federal agencies.
- Knowledge of OMB Circulars, FAR/DFARS cost principles, and federal audit requirements.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Physical Demands
- Ability and willingness to adhere to an untraditional work schedule, specifically working after hours and on weekends to satisfy tight proposal development schedules and deadlines. The demands for this position fluctuate between busy seasons and off seasons, requiring candidates to effectively and independently balance their time.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, including talking and hearing.
- Ability to operate productively in a fully remote work environment, including the ability to take meetings and phone calls from a quiet and private space during business hours.
