Job Description
Summary/objective
Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler founded in Birmingham, AL more than 123 years ago. Buffalo Rock manages the best non-alcoholic beverage portfolio in the country, which includes several beloved global and regional brands. The Corporate Marketing Manager will be responsible for amplifying brand presence locally by spearheading integrated marketing efforts. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing impactful brand strategies, leveraging partnerships and experiential marketing to drive awareness, engagement and market share. This role also requires a dynamic individual with a strategic mindset, creative flair, and a track record of driving successful brand activation initiatives.

- Develop and localize brand plans to drive profitable growth, considering local brand positioning and insights.
- Act as a brand ambassador and guardian of the brands, ensuring ideas and activations are aligned with brand guidelines and that the brands are represented correctly in all materials.
- Proven experience leading and collaborating within teams, customers, and agency partners to translate marketing objectives into functional strategies and tactics.
- Ensure maximum use of creative assets across all channels. Review assets provided by the brand teams and share with Corporate Advertising and franchises in a timely manner.
- Provide detailed analysis and measurement of campaign results for product specific, brand, and seasonal marketing campaigns.
- Fulfill, activate, and track all partner assets to ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled and brand presence and ROI are maximized.
- Ideate and identify unexpected applications of the brands that touch consumers and culture - partnerships, collaborations, brand activations.
- Champion and wield brand thinking across campaigns, concepts, and the organization; ensure authenticity and the best interests of the communities we serve.
- Present and negotiate with confidence and professionalism and proven ability to think on your feet while maintaining a warm, outgoing personality and clear demonstration of business acumen.
- Conduct consistent touch points with each contact to develop long-term relationships and continually find creative solutions that go above and beyond the contract to enhance the partnership experience.
- Collaborate internally with corporate sales team and franchises on respective shared sponsor accounts and provide details about ongoing interactions and contractual executions.
- Provide administrative support for Rock Advertising including billing and reimbursements.
- Plan and execute the annual brand planning meeting (AOP) and Franchise Excellence.
- Consistently assess competitive strategies and uncover white space opportunities.
- Required to complete other activities assigned.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Must exhibit a high level of ethical and moral conduct while at work or in attendance of any off-site function during work hours or after work hours while representing the Buffalo Rock Company.
- Responsible for continuous self-improvement through the knowledge and use of all Buffalo Rock provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other provided method. Must successfully complete assigned training curriculum, including but not limited to online and/or facilitated training.

Required education and experience
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree, Field of Study: Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field; Required.
- Experience
- Minimum of five years of relevant, professional experience, with at least 3 years in brand management, advertising, marketing or sponsorships; Required.
- Proven project management experience; Required.
- Agency experience; Preferred.
- Computer & Media Skills
- Advanced experience in/ application of Microsoft Office 365 products is required including, but not limited to: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access, etc.
o Must have advanced experience in/application of social media platforms and scheduling programs including, but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.
o Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.) or a similar platform such as Canva; Preferred.
