Here's what you'd do:

• The Operations Specialist - Unique Processing Team is directly responsible for specialized functions within Trade Processing.
• Including the processing and settling of security trades at DTC, as well as security and cash movements on custody, client communication, and reconciliation.
• Transaction Processing
  • Process assigned tasks in an efficient and effective manner for our custody clients and accounts.
  • Verify trade information against the broker's presentation, security, and cash transactions received from the client.
  • Manage daily volume.
• Problem Resolution
  • Review and resolve trade discrepancies with the necessary parties.
  • Escalate problem trades to management.
• Communications
  • Communicate professionally and constructively via email, phone, and other channels with internal and external clients and counterparties to effectively resolve issues, minimize risk, and reduce exposure.
  • Provide superior client service.
  • Communicate as part of a team.
• Process Improvement
  • Gain efficiencies to improve individual productivity.
  • Gain an understanding of the big picture - how a specific function impacts the firm.
  • Contribute to Division or Firm process improvement activities.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $26.00 /hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Temp (6 Months).

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
