Kodak is looking for a Process Engineer to join our Printed Electronics team onsite in Rochester, NY. This is an additive manufacturing, specifically printing, Process Engineer position in the printed electronics organization. The printed electronics process utilizes production-scale, roll-to-roll equipment in class 1,000 and 10,000 cleanroom environments. The equipment is used for the development and manufacturing of patterned conductive films using two fundamental process blocks: 1) flexographic printing and 2) electroless copper plating. The scope of this position includes full ownership and oversight of the flexographic printing process, including pre-press operations, with strong collaboration across the process steps for full production optimization. The right candidate will be able to ensure that the current process continues to deliver consistently high-quality printed electronics products to our customers, while driving meaningful improvements in existing processes. A successful candidate will be able to balance the needs of a robust manufacturing environment with the flexibility required to explore development projects to better meet the needs of our current product portfolio and future customers. It is expected that the successful candidate will be comfortable leading the implementation of process improvements in any aspects flexographic printing process - including chemistry, hardware, software and process changes.
