IT Technology Data Consultant - Master Data Management

Location: Roswell, GA

Travel: Up to 25% (primarily international)

Pay: $65/hr. | Schedule: Monday - Friday (Day Shift) CST

Position Overview

Kimberly-Clark is undertaking multiple large-scale global transformation projects requiring data conversion, migration, and ongoing master data management. The IT Technology Data Consultant will support Lead Global Master Data Consultants in preparing, validating, and maintaining high-quality master data across multiple domains, including Customer, Product, Vendor, Direct and Indirect Material, and associated hierarchies. Accuracy, integrity, and completeness of data are critical to business continuity and SOX compliance.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in global master data projects. This role reports to the Director of Data & Analytics and collaborates across multiple teams and regions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Conversion & Migration:



  • Prepare master data for system conversion and migration.
  • Perform data cleansing, standardization, harmonization, and localization.
  • Map SAP S4 master data values and construct accurate datasets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional and cross-workstream data requirements.
  • Create and validate test data; investigate and resolve data-related issues.


Master Data Governance (SAP MDG & Profisee):



  • Gather and document local functional requirements; align with global solutions.
  • Oversee test script development and execution for master data processes.
  • Test MDG processes and tools, including CRUD workflow validation.
  • Support change management initiatives and end-user training.
  • Maintain master data integrity during cut-over and hypercare phases.


Project & Documentation Management:



  • Track project tasks using tools such as ADO, Jira, Clarity, TargetProcess, and Excel.
  • Maintain and update key data documentation: Data Definitions (DD), Field Mapping Design (FMD), and Functional Design (FD).
  • Monitor dependencies and new tasks, escalating issues as needed.


Collaboration & Communication:



  • Work across global regions, functions, and cultures to deliver master data solutions.
  • Partner with internal teams and outsourced resources to ensure alignment and data accuracy.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and project teams.



Qualifications & Experience



  • BA/BS in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in master data management, ideally within consumer products.
  • Understanding of master and transactional data processes, architecture, hierarchies, and interdependencies.
  • SAP MDG CRUD process/workflow functional design and testing experience.
  • Experience in data quality functional rule design and Fiori UI functional design.
  • Proven operational experience in master data standardization, cleansing, and harmonization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple regions.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% internationally.
