The Department of Gender Studies is housed in the Division of Social Sciences at UCLA. The Center on Resilience and Data Justice is a research center that focuses on deep and lasting public impact that foregrounds accountability and repair from extant and emerging digital and AI harms.
Position Summary

Housed in the Department of Gender Studies, the Center on Resilience and Data Justice (CRDJ) at UCLA is seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a background or interest in gender and internet studies to contribute to our organization's proven track record bridging the gap between academic researchers and public impact.


Salary & Compensation

Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant research experience (Required)
  • 2-3 years of professional post-baccalaureate experience (Preferred)
  • Experience working in an academic or think-tank environment (Preferred)
  • Understanding of and experience with technology and impacts on society (Preferred)
  • Project management experience (Preferred)
  • Strong interest in and experience with key questions of technology and impact on society. (Required)
  • Mastery of various methodological approaches and tools for data analysis. (Required)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects independently, (Required)
  • meeting project timelines, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders in a productive and timely manner. (Required)
  • Attention to detail and ability to organize and document workflow (Required)
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills (Required)

  • Bachelor's Degree In related area and / or equivalent experience / training (Required)
