What You'll Do As a Procurement Vendor Management Intern, you will apply your academic knowledge to real-world supply chain challenges and directly contribute to the integrity and efficiency of our global supply chain. This hands-on role is focused on application-driven experience in critical vendor management areas, specifically corporate compliance, risk mitigation, and global governance. Other duties include:
Utilize data and established methodologies to solve problems and optimize vendor processes. Apply established protocols to execute end-to-end vendor due diligence, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements Review and validate documentation using internal systems to ensure vendor compliance with global governance policies. Maintain and optimize the compliance tracking database, ensuring detailed and audit-ready records for the vendor portfolio. Perform quantitative risk assessments by collecting, scrubbing, and analyzing vendor performance data, financial health metrics, and operational stability reports. Identify critical risk indicators through data analysis and formulate clear recommendations for mitigation strategies to be presented to senior management. Support the implementation of risk mitigation measures across the vendor base. Utilize advanced Excel (or equivalent tool) techniques to independently aggregate and synthesize complex data from multiple internal and external vendor sources. Translate raw data into actionable business insights regarding vendor trends, compliance anomalies, and performance gaps. Develop and present professional, data-driven reports on project compliance and vendor risk metrics to the Procurement leadership team, driving decision-making. Draft and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for vendor onboarding and monitoring processes. Serve as a key communication link between vendors and cross-functional internal teams (Legal, Finance, IT) regarding compliance and documentation requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Junior level standing pursuing Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to apply analytical skills to complex business problems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling) or similar data analysis tools.
- Must be highly detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player

About your internship Duration: 10 - 12 weeks Pay: $24.00 an hour
