Job Overview

We are currently looking forpaid Manufacturing Engineering Interns to join our team in Ludington, MI.This position will be working onsite at one of our Haworth locations.

Get ready for an adventurous summer as a Haworth intern! You'll join a cohort of around 50 other dynamic interns for a 12-week program packed with hands on learning. Throughout the summer you will dive into real projects that will give you a taste of what it's like to work in a leading business and manufacturing environment. Each week brings new experiences as a group. Sharpen your skills with interactive workshops on networking, public speaking, and using AI tools in a business environment. Connect with mentors and see all areas of the office and manufacturing processes. Then unwind at intern only social events where you can meet people from all corners of the business. By the end of the summer, you'll leave with real skills, an expanded professional network, and memories to last a lifetime. This is your chance to take your career to new heights!

As a Manufacturing Engineering intern, you will assist with projects such as aluminum yield improvements, data collection for machine replacement justifications, and engineering support.

Required Qualifications



  • Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Product Line Engineering with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028.
  • Ability to work On-site in Ludington, MI from May 2026 to August 2026.
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for the position.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher
  • Prior Haworth Experience
  • Previous Employment Experience
  • Extra-Curricular Activity Experience such as athletics, clubs, volunteer work, etc.
  • Blueprint reading
  • SAP experience



Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:



  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications and keyboard skills.
  • Desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
  • Organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
