Architectural/Civil Superintendent

Ameresco currently has a new opportunity for an Architectural/Civil Superintendent to join our team in support of the design, construction, and successful implementation of large-scale commercial and government projects. This position will support projects around Denver, CO.

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite leadership for subcontractor workforce, overseeing all architectural and civil construction activities.

• Supervise installation of architectural components (e.g., windows, doors, building envelope systems) and civil work (e.g., site utilities, underground piping, hydronic piping).

• Support the Project Manager with planning and organizing project work, including management of the critical path and all critical path activities, to ensure compliance with contract documents.

• Develop and maintain a sequence of work and project schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager and scheduling team.

• Assist in logistics planning and scheduling during pre-construction and early project phases.

• Monitor and report on project progress, productivity, and schedule updates.

• Ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards, building codes, and jurisdictional requirements.

• Provide technical assistance, documentation, and collaboration across teams.

• Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial or government construction industry.

• Ability to review confidential US security information.

Additional Qualifications:

• OSHA 30-hour Certification or EM-385-1 Certification.

• Demonstrated experience in architectural and civil construction, including site utilities and building envelope systems.

• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and manpower.

• Proven ability to lead field operations and manage multiple priorities.

• Experience with Quality Control management.

• Strong verbal, written, and technical communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards, building systems, engineering, and project management codes and practices.

• Experience supervising window installation and building envelope systems.

• Knowledge of hydronic piping and underground utility installation.

• Previous work on government or large-scale commercial projects.
