Description Responsible for performing basic pharmacy technician duties. Works under the supervision of registered pharmacists. May assist with mentoring pharmacy technician I as assigned. Performs more advanced pharmacy technician duties that may include billing, prioritizing/overseeing the workflow of the main pharmacy, assisting tech specialists, performing unit inspections, sealing/locking emergency trays or carts, and checking the work of other technicians (tech-check-tech). May assist pharmacy management with administrative support duties
Qualifications Experience/Specialized Skills:High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Certification/Registration: Current California Pharmacy Technician License. Certification by a National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) required within 6 months of hire. Minimum of years 6 months' experience in current practice environment or in sterile compounding and 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in any practice setting.

Required Education/Course(s)/Training: 2 years' experience in relevant practice area is preferred
