What will you be doing?

• Lead New Product Development programs from ideation through commercialization

• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Quality, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance and market readiness

• Establish and track project-level KPIs aligned with program objectives

• Own project planning, progress tracking, and status reporting

• Manage deliverables across functions and facilitate decision-making on scope, budget, schedule, and product quality

• Drive Agile practices as project leader and scrum master

What will you need to be successful?

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical, Biomedical, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering); Master's Degree in a technical field preferred

• Hands-on engineering experience developing new products from inception to launch

• Proven project management experience leading medium-scale NPD programs, preferably in software or integrated systems

• Familiarity with Agile methodology and industry certifications such as PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent

• Hands-on experience with SaMD and Physical Product., I.e. HW.

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $111,625- $193,875 USD annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
