Under supervision of the Facilities Superintendent, the lead plumber will perform the full range of skilled journey-level plumbing work on campus utility systems. Respond to trouble calls related to utility systems including but not limited to clogs, floods, backups, leaks, natural gas, potable water, high temp hot water, chilled water, reclaimed water, sewer, storm drains, and fire protection services. Inspect, troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance and repair Recreation building and utility plumbing systems. Inspect components to ascertain required repairs through proper troubleshooting techniques, and use of various test equipment and schematics. Coordinate services with campus customers, vendors and third-party companies and assist with questions regarding work performed. Provide expeditious, professional and courteous customer service. As the lead plumber, coordinate and schedule building systems work, provide instruction and training to additional employees and oversee for quality control and timely completion. May be assigned supervisory tasks that deal more on providing input in the absence of superintendent. QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $113,796 - $113,796 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $54.50 - $54.50 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
