Yoh has an immediate
need for an Employee Relations Consultant within the
financial services industry, possible temp to hire,
in a hybrid
schedule with our client located in Wayne, PA.

Max Hourly Rate:$35-40/hr.
Hybrid:
40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
8 days/month onsite (Tuesdays required; initial phase may require 3 days/week for collaboration).

What You Will Be Doing

  • Influencing managers and employees toward successful outcomes in conflict situations.
  • Handling Employee Relations cases, including behavioral or performance concerns and assisting managers with corrective processes.
  • Responding to reports of harassment or discrimination and conducting investigations.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential HR/ER data.
  • Leading monthly or quarterly meetings with managers and team leads on ER topics, proposing action plans, and ensuring effective implementation.
  • Facilitating local training programs developed by the L&D team.
  • Conducting exit interviews and analyzing trends.
  • Advising on policies (sabbatical, STD/FMLA, severance) and intervening when necessary.
  • Supporting change management initiatives and executing terminations related to ER cases.
  • Partnering with HR Business Partners, Legal, and external counsel as needed.


Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years in HR functions with a strong focus on Employee Relations
  • High Emotional Intelligence and ability to thrive in high-stress environments.

  • Strong communication and consultative skills.
  • Knowledge of U.S. employment law and regulations.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and stakeholder management.


Preferred:

  • SHRM-CP certification.
  • Investigation certification (preferred, not required).
  • Experience in large/global organizations (client has 1,400 U.S. employees and 6,000 globally).


Additional Details:

  • No travel required; some early calls with international leaders.
  • High caseload: 177 cases this year (70 performance, 55 ER, 40 accommodations/leave).
  • Strong potential for long-term growth into an ER Partner role.
  • Tools: MS Office and client proprietary platforms
