This opportunity is for our Electric Heat business. Electric Heat is a trusted leader in electric heating and ventilation solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. Backed by the strength of ASPEQ Heating Group and Marley Engineered Products, we offer a wide range of standard and customized products through leading brands like QMark, Indeeco, Berko, and Brasch.

How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Financial Systems and Processes Manager, you will lead the design, implement, and optimize financial systems and related business processes. This role bridges finance and technology, ensuring systems align with business needs, internal controls, and compliance requirements. You will collaborate across departments to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in financial operations.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

  1. System & Process Leadership
    • Lead system upgrades, integrations, and new module implementations with minimal business disruption.
    • Identify and resolve process inefficiencies in partnership with Finance leadership.
    • Maintain documentation for financial processes, workflows, and internal controls.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as liaison between Finance, IT, and third-party vendors for system-related initiatives.
    • Promote adoption of financial systems through training, communication, and user support.
  1. Compliance & Reporting
    • Ensure compliance with SOX, audit requirements, and data security standards.
    • Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and analytics that provide actionable insights.

What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:

Required Experience

  • 8+ years in financial systems management, financial operations, or related fields.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement and system implementation projects.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements.
  • Experience implementing business software (e.g., ERP, CRM, WMS).
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.

Travel & Working Environment

  • Hybrid work environment
  • Travel may be required for system implementations or cross-site collaboration (up to 10%).
