Budget Support Assistant

Harkcon, Inc. is supporting Dept of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Secure Transportation (OST) in Albuquerque, NM and is hiring a Budget Support Assistant to work in a strong team environment at NNSA OST Headquarters facilities.

YOU are a strong Excel and SharePoint user and are comfortable working in the MS365 suite (MicroSoft). You have exceptional time management skills and will apply those monthly when 3 vital deliverables are due at the same time. You have an awareness of, and, perhaps, experience with working with budgets. You will interact with gov't personnel in ABQ and in all US time zones. You are willing and able to work at a gov't site on Kirtland AFB daily from 6:30 AM to 3 PM.

In this role, you will:

• Support OST's budget execution activities in tracking, generating reports, data, and cost reconciliation.
• Use your proficiency with various software products to include Outlook, Excel, Access, Crystal Reports, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Apply knowledge and skills in budget-related laws, regulations, policies, precedents, methods, and techniques.

Qualifications

• BA/BS
• 2+ years of related work experience
• Expert using Excel and SharePoint
• Familiarity with the following government systems (preferred)
  1. iPORTAL
  2. STRIPES
  3. FAST
  4. Share Point
• Clearance: DOE L

This work will be done on-site at government facilities in Albuquerque, NM.
