What you'll do

As the Director of Engagement Experimentation, you'll shape how millions of passengers connect, stream, and engage with our inflight internet and entertainment products. You'll lead strategy and execution to drive deeper usage, satisfaction, and value from our connected passenger experiences. Working across product, data science, UX, and commercial teams, you'll use insights and experimentation to evolve our platform and maximize both customer delight and business outcomes.


The day-to-day

  • Define an engagement and monetization strategy that increases passenger adoption, product engagement time, and repeat usage across connectivity and entertainment offerings.
  • Identify and implement engagement experiments, measure results and drive cross product adoption based on the derived data.
  • Optimize passenger monetization by balancing engagement, experience and monetization opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams focused on user behavior, journey mapping, and engagement optimization.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and design teams to identify engagement drivers, friction points, and opportunities for product enhancement.
  • Translate data insights into actionable UX improvements, product roadmap priorities, and go-to-market experiments.
  • Collaborate with marketing and airline partners to develop and test engagement campaigns and personalized passenger experiences.
  • Own product KPIs around engagement, retention, and satisfaction, and communicate results to senior leadership.
  • Work with the ad sales organization to create data driven pricing and bundling based on passenger behavior.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Management, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in digital product management, UX strategy, or engagement analytics.
  • Proven track record of using data and experimentation to grow engagement and retention in consumer-facing products.
  • Strong understanding of digital product metrics and behavioral analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Tableau, GA4).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across technical and commercial teams.
  • Experience managing and mentoring product or analytics professionals.
  • Ability to travel 20%.

  • Familiarity with passenger journey design and inflight connectivity ecosystems.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-innovation environment where experimentation drives progress.

Salary range

$162,500.00 - $257,000.00 / annually.
For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $202,000.00- $303,000.00/ annually

Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
