Assistant Video Editor (Contract) - Cupertino, CA We're looking for an Assistant Video Editor to join our post-production team for a 4-month, full-time contract. This role is 100% on-site in Cupertino and offers the opportunity to support a fast-paced production environment creating high-quality corporate, educational, marketing, and interview-driven content. W-2 pay rate: $52.23/hour. About the Role As an Assistant Video Editor, you'll help keep our editorial workflows running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include ingesting and organizing large volumes of footage, assembling rough cuts, preparing timelines, tracking shots, taking detailed notes, and supporting editors with clear, well-organized documentation. You'll work closely with post-production leads to implement creative direction, source music, add captions, handle scratch audio, and assist with localization needs. You'll also help maintain organized project structures and assets to support the team's overall success. Who We're Looking For You bring 2-4 years of experience in video editing or post-production support, along with a passion for storytelling and content creation. You're proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and comfortable working with large amounts of footage in a fast-paced, multi-editor environment. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Transcription/Caption tools, LUTs, Lumetri, and basic color work is highly valuable. You communicate clearly, stay organized, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and maintain exceptional attention to detail. Education & Background A bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or equivalent practical experience is preferred. Experience with corporate, educational, interview-style, or procedural video content is a strong plus. Additional Details This role is located on-site in Cupertino, CA. W-2 pay rate: $52.23/hour.
