In this role you will:



  • Respond to any requests of light maintenance and janitorial duties for the GFC Fitchburg Office.
  • Identify additional facilities work that needs to be done by contractors; working with manager to contact the appropriate contractors.
  • Check in and receive in daily shipping packages for GFC Corporate and Elevity departments. Deliver packages throughout the GFC Fitchburg building to departments.
  • Complete daily mail run between downtown Madison and the Fitchburg office.
  • Complete bank deposit run as needed for the GFC Accounts Payable department.
  • Safely operate the courier van between the Fitchburg office and the TLC as needed. Safely put product into its assigned areas in the warehouse.
  • Maintain a safe & clean warehouse environment.
  • Assist with deliveries as needed to customers in the Madison market.
  • Assist as a backup driver for the TLC, Drive the GFC delivery truck at the TLC as needed, for machine deliveries and new installs in the Madison area.
  • Pick, un-box, preassemble and prep equipment for set-up.
  • Package, process, and ship customer supply shipments with a high level of accuracy.
  • Verify configurations and serial numbers of equipment in the post setup staging area.
  • Handle recyclable material in accordance with company standards.


You should have:



  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Pre-employment DOT physical exam (unless already maintaining current certification).
  • A current Fed Med (DOT) card in order to drive GFC vehicles with a GVWR of 10,000 lbs. or more (or the ability to obtain and maintain a Fed Med card).
  • Ability to drive 16-26' straight truck.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds individually and push/lift 200+ pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain stair climber certification; certification administered by internal GFC certifier.
  • Ability to be insured under company insurance requirement for driving company vehicle.
  • Ability to accurately read and process product codes, serial numbers, and other alpha-numeric product designations.
  • Ability to multi-task and work quickly.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Outlook).
