As a Security Officer - Commercial Property Patrol in Franklin Park, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with tenants and visitors, deliver exceptional customer service, and support access control measures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal's protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unwanted behavior and report suspicious activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with property management, tenants, and local authorities as necessary to address security-related matters.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations, medical situations, and other incidents as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
